Sirenia changes with every album, and "Perils of the Deep Blue" is not an exception. The music became more juicy, full of heavy metal elements, and the album has not been without experiments, sometimes we can hear some electronic elements. I never loved the electronic sound, but want to say, the experiment was an immediate success! Electronic elements successfully entwined with heavy metal.

Album left only positive effect, it makes happy with music and the voice. Ailyn is not sitting in one's hands, she has really grown vocally. It is not a computer processing, it goes without saying that the bad voice will never corrected even with it. Here is computer processing nice supplement the great Ailyn's voice. In total, the album is harmonious. In a nutshell, the voice complements the music, the music, voice and plus add to this, all the amazing lyrics.

The songs I want to point out - "Ducere Me In Lucem" - calm and nice without any pathos with amazing vocal techniques. The next song (by the way it is a single) - "Seven Widows Weep" - a little epic with the harsh vocals of Morten Veland and the amazing vocal techniques by Ailyn. "Ditt Endelikt" - is the light and amazing song at the same time, with clear vocals of Joakim Næss and electronic elements.

To draw the conclusion, one can say that the album is really nice and it should be listened to. It sounds exactly how I imagined it, or even better.

Overall Rating: 4/5

Thanks for rating my review. It is the best album with Ailyn.
