Review by Jessica Clingempeel

One word to sum up Raving Season's album, 'The Brightness of my Disaster', is awesome! When I first popped in the cd and gave it a listen it reminded me of another Italian band, Maledia. You can compare Raving Season to bands such as Nightwish, Epica or the one mentioned, Maledia. The Brightness of my Disaster contains five tracks which are all wonderful. You will get very powerful operatic vocals and some growling vocals as well and the music itself it amazing. Even the lyrics are good. For the conclusion, this album is very wonderful, haunting and dark.

Now the only thing I didn't like very much, which may be minor because I am a big fan of booklets, is their CD booklet. I think it could have been a little more added to it and the lyrics at times were a bit hard to read, but other than that the album is still worth the money. Get it now!

Overall Rating: 3.5/5
